One-to-one coaching

Expert Personal Training in the City of London

Get leaner, get stronger, and feel better in your own body. One-to-one coaching built around your goal and your schedule, with an experienced coach who gets you. No templates, no cookie-cutter plans.

Every client starts with a full movement assessment, so what you do is based on how you actually move rather than guesswork. From there you get your training, your nutrition guidance and the programming for the days you are not with me, reassessed every few weeks so it keeps pace with you.

The difference

Why train with me

01

Expert coaching from day one

Coaching since 2011, and over 10,000 hours of it on the gym floor. You train with me every session, so nothing gets lost in a handover and nobody has to learn you twice.

02

Experience, built on data

Every client starts with a full movement assessment, baseline measurements and photos. Your programme comes from what that shows, not from a template with your name on it.

03

Honest coaching

An honest read on where you are now and what it will take to get where you want to be. If your nutrition is undoing your training, you will hear it. You are not here for a social session.

04

Coaching that keeps going

Coaching with me moves through phases, so when one goal is done there is already a next one. Several of my clients have trusted me with their coaching for over a decade.

The process

How it works

01

Consultation

Free and no obligation. What you want to achieve, what you have tried before, your timeframe, and what got in the way. We build the roadmap from there.

02

Full assessment

Movement assessment, starting measurements and photos. This is what your programme is designed and built from.

03

Your programme

Built around you, your assessment, your goal and your schedule. Crafted to build a stronger, leaner, fitter physique and benefit your overall health.

04

Reviews

Reassessed every few weeks, or sooner if something needs changing.

Real clients

Proven results

★★★★★

"Having lost over 20kg and increased strength, I'm very happy with the results."

I've worked with Jack for almost 4 years, doing 2x PT sessions a week. I wanted to get back into gym strength sessions as part of an effort to lose weight and generally improve my lifestyle.

Having lost over 20kg and increased strength, I'm very happy with the results. Jack is knowledgeable, personable and really supportive.

"I lost about 4 stone and 3 trouser sizes."

I had major back surgery and so I have to train smart but I love to train hard. Jack worked with me to carefully find my limits and worked around my restrictions.

I lost about 4 stone and 3 trouser sizes before going off on my own and having catch up sessions and new programmes written by him. I cannot say anything bad about Jack and the work he does. He really changed my life.

★★★★★

"Went from someone who could not run a mile to achieving under 2 hours in a half marathon."

I started working out with Jack a few years ago and went from someone who could not run a mile to achieving under 2 hours in a half marathon last year. I am now training for a triathlon.

Jack took time to understand my goals and worked to increase my overall strength and agility, which I could not have achieved on my own.

FAQs

Is this actually right for someone like me?

It suits three sorts of people. Those who have never set foot in a gym and want to start properly. Those who have trained before and need the guidance and accountability to finally get a result. And those who need the structure and the push to fit this around a demanding week.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how often you train and which location suits you. We'll go through it on the consultation, which is free and comes with no pressure at the end of it.

I've tried before and it never stuck. Why would this be different?

Usually because the plan was never built around your actual week, and because nobody was keeping you at it once the first hard fortnight arrived. Both of those are the job here.

I've lost weight before but I put it back on. Can you help with that?

Yes, and it's the most common thing I see. Losing it is the easier half. We build the habits and the structure that hold it, which is why some of my clients have been with me for over a decade.

I've never set foot in a gym. Is that a problem?

No. Plenty of my clients started exactly there. We begin with an assessment of how you move and build from that, at a pace that makes sense for you.

Am I going to be put through a boot camp and told to cut everything out?

No. Nothing here is a cookie-cutter plan, and nothing is built on restriction for its own sake. We work from what will actually work for you.

I don't have much time. Is it still worth it?

That's what the programming outside sessions is for. Your plan is written around the time you have, not the time you wish you had.

How often would I need to train?

It depends on your goal and your week, and we work it out on the consultation. What you do between sessions matters as much as the sessions themselves.

What happens in the first session?

A full movement assessment and your starting measurements. That's what your programme gets built from.

Why train in person rather than online?

Because I can see what you're doing and correct it there and then. If you're close enough to get to either location, in person will always do more. If you're not, the online programme is built for exactly that.

Start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes, free, and you'll come away knowing whether this is right for you either way.
